Modern mages in 21st century. What else?

Here's another sketch that I'm sure not many people will see since I'm so underrated.
Picture2.png
This is another character with magenta-maroon hair and mid-dark skin, whom I'm deciding to call Zesiro. He's a 20-year old male mage/wizard, and like all of my male characters to this date, he's heterosexual, only fancying in having love to a female. He's a resident of a town in Europe, where one of the later plots of the Aozora's Adventure series takes place. As with all of my other mage/wizard/witch/sorcerer characters, he has many different abilities at his disposal. But unlike the other characters of this type, he does not have an alternative transformation, rather he can adjust his own body parts for any scenario he needs, provided it's a simple transformation to one or more of his body parts and not something complex. (Think of Eve from Black Cat and you'll get it)

Well I'm running out of time, so I'll wrap it up here. Catch 'ya later.

Aquatic Life is Miracle x100.

NOTE: Some parts about this post may become a little strange, rarely for a blog like this where I rarely bring up anything strange. If you are somehow disgusted by the following dialogue, my biggest apologies. I promise this will be the only time I will discuss something that comes close to the miracle of life, unless I must bring it up again.

Ah yes, Mermaids. As one of the world's most beloved mythological hybrids, they simply need no introduction. But for a little brief saying, all mythological hybrid creatures are basically humans with the lower half of their body, where their legs would normally be, as the lower half of a specific animal/aquatic creature, and given several traits of the animal they resemble. In the case of mermaids and their male merman counterparts, they have the lower half of their bodies as fish tails, and the ability of unlimited breath underwater.

For how I interpret mythological hybrids (mostly limited to centaurs, nagas/lamias, and of course mermaids/mermen) in my works, mainly in NSFW territory, they should be more realistic to the animals they represent. Besides just looking like they are, they share most, if not all the original traits, including their diets, anatomical structure, and reproduction methods. If the animal it represents has horns, it has horns. If it has a tail, it has a tail. If it has sharp teeth, it has sharp teeth. If it reproduces through eggs, then I'll leave you to imagine the scenario. The only major difference with hybrids is alongside the upper human body, the ability to cumulate better with humans and other types of hybrid species, a trait not usually associated with the animal kingdom.

But before I turn this into a fantasized mammalogy class complete with explicit stuff, hybrids that are based of carnivorous animals, like centaur-lions and nagas, are the nasty faces of these hybrids. While there are friendly varieties that don't choose to eat specific hybrid species, like my own Ziki, these carnivorous hybrids will often attack and eat their victims alive. In the case of females killing and feasting on males, they will "make love" to the male before killing and devouring them. Rarely, the good-hearted female naga may allow the male victim to live, often keeping it as a secret from the rest of the tribe. This whole story also works with the lesser-known male nagas killing a female.

So I've already given you enough stories to vomit to today. After you're finished with the toilet, let's start focusing on mermaids only and the ones that will appear in Aozora's Adventure. Afterwards, I'll say a few last words before I close the post.

Mermaids aren't common in this world, although they do exist. They were more or less creatures brought to Earth due to a very complex European science experiment to bring mythological hybrids into reality by combining genes and DNA with both humans and animals. They created two creatures, a single white mermaid and white merman (as white is supposably every color put together, according to spectrums), and released them into the ocean to mate and spread off offspring through the seven seas. So to sum this up, they were treated as endangered species, and by several months, mermaids and mermen began to grow intelligence and construct underwater cities and temples, and developed basic combat skills to fight off predators of basic fish and other enemies. The mermaids/mermen are not "magic" and thus cannot transform their fish tails into human legs and do the same (or vice versa) to other humans and mermaids. While female mermaids do possess good singing skills, it is not possible for them to sing to distract/lure away/lure to death people.

The main and most well-known mermaid of the series would be this one: Nanami.
AsAMermaidChara.jpg
The blue and somewhat snooty mermaid was one of the earlier mermaids born from the experiment, with an age equivalent to a 22-year-old healthy human female. She is one of the few high-ranked elite mermaid warriors in the oceans to be a female, and had learned how to move on land by slithering her tail like a snake (yea, don't know if that's a jumping the shark moment, but hey, she can breathe on air since she has the traits of not only fish, but also humans).

Her main weapon is (what a shock) a trident that not only can do basic strikes thanks to its long size and sharpness, but it's also infused with electricity, which allows for heavy powerful strikes. Well this electricity is an alternative kind that doesn't conduct in water (well it does, but it only goes such a distance before it dies down). As you'd expect, she's stronger in aquatic environments because that's where she spends most of her life in.

Strange to think this is the first major mermaid character since after all the ones from my reject of a "franchise" got thrown down the toilet. Well at least this one doesn't look like a Mermaid Melody Pichi Pichi Pitch knockoff, which I'm proud of myself for giving her so much shite to wear, besides just a shell bra.

Well that's it for now. Hopefully I'll get to writing more bios of the characters on the Wiki, including of the recent ones. As for the previous character in the last post, I'm leaning over to calling him "Vinzenz" (yeah, a German name. Not only the Japanese can think of good names).

See ya.

Everyone loves a good Transformation fetish.

Yea I'm here with another darn update. Expect these to come and go quite often. I know no one really reads this blog, but not only do I want to show you the sketch, I also wanted to explain some things.

As I had stated previously, people seem to think I'm fading into oblivion since I'm not updating my deviantART gallery often. Your answer as to why I'm busy is because I get sidetracked way too easily nowadays, plus since I'm somewhat losing the interest of drawing knowing that I won't get much (if any) positive feedback, especially from those I want to get praised by since I've followed them for a good damn long time, and even tried to give them a good laugh once in a while. I'm not attempting to stir up trouble, so I won't go ahead and reveal whom is it that I want commenting, favoriting, and critiquing my art; but if you know me, you might be able to figure it out if you or someone you know is a wanted critic/fan/friend.

Speaking of criticism, I promise the new art I submit to deviantART will incorporate several tidbits of criticism I had received in my last art of Fakhriya. It will continue to have the less-blocky lineart, as well as sharper finer edges, plus will have the dual-layer cell shading in all areas, not just parts I feel are necessary to have such. I'll continue to take critiques on future works just so I don't feel like a coward with no life, including this one that I'm doing based on the sketch I did last Friday.

I do not aim to be the world's greatest artist. Very few people have even accomplished such a feat, and since it would take me years and years, I'm just not going to bother with it. It's not possible to please every single person on this planet, as everyone will develop different opinions over various subjects, my art style and Aozora's Adventure included. Just as I said I'm not aiming to be the world's perfect artist, I'm also not aiming to make my OC's become the greatest creations on the planet and thus, possibly get the licenses from fellow webcomic/doujin artists to have their characters make major cameos in the series. Please just get those facts deep into your brain.

Now before I go and show you today's sketch, I need to point out a thing with all of my characters. All of my characters are heterosexual, meaning that none of them will develop a sexual relationship/interest in another character of the same gender, despite several of the males having slim and smooth designs and/or outfits. Take Higure for instance; even though he's dressed in a latex violet jumpsuit, he's not homosexual, he's just an excessively active fighter with a lust for busty females. Though I do know that when some trolls/haters call someone like this "gay," they're referring to the design being crappy in their opinion, and in rare cases: jealously.

So now that I made my point, here's the sketch. Note that I modified it in Photoshop to make it easier to tell the skin from the armor. If you must see the original, it's here.
Lazy editing is lazy. :B

Here's another character that should be a homage to most of you fellow otakus. A speedy modern barbarian warrior from the Darkness sub-series with great strength and his main weapon of choice is a large sword that is almost the same size as he is. While he is part of the team of Darkness protagonists, he does not spend much time with his allies and prefers to work alone (yea common cliche) unless his allies are in desperate need. In combat, he is clad in flexible but strong white, grey, and black metallic steel armor that reveals most of his skin, as if I'm not making enough Witchblade homages already with loads of fan-service with the busty female characters; wait until you see Kurayami's transformed state. Now I give the traits of the Witch/Clone/Dualblade to a male character from a completely different series, let alone an Indie one? Well the Aozora's Adventure series is also a parody series, and the transformation is triggered by excessive stress, anger, and worry; though I cannot conform it's identical to or different than Witchblade because I have never seen the Witchblade anime, and thus don't know what causes the transformation in that series. Much like Witchblade, the transformation causes the user to shed the majority of his/her clothing, and the reason why I say majority is because in the Aozora's Adventure series, specific characters who have this "grow armor" transformation, shared between Kurayami, Blake, Adelvina, the un-named fifth witch, and this character only shed their existing clothing and grow new fabric/latex alongside the hard armor, giving the viewer a naked silhouette just before the armor forms from their skin. To give an example of this, Adelvina, when undergoing her transformation, grows a black catsuit with red highlights with ruby-colored armor wrapped around it, the same kind this character shown above has. The ruby armor also grows around her two spherical ponytails, allowing Adelvina better control of them in attacks, and giving her the ability to sprout spikes from them. Yea, that's how I use my imagination to the limits.

Anyways back to this character. Once transformed, this character is granted great strength from the armor that sprouted on his body and black pants, plus he can call upon his giant sword, which he holds in his hands with pretty much no trouble at all. It can be swung at great speeds, even with just one hand, and can also be controlled with his mind to float and arc in the air. The sword is capable of firing powerful white atomic blasts, which require the user to charge before firing.

Okay, I think I said enough about this guy. Of course I didn't give him a name yet since I'm just so lazy. :P See you next time.

I has a new character?

Whoops, hit Enter a little too early. XD

But yea, let us begin.

I'm here with an all-out new sketcharoo, on the second TGIF of this school year. Thankfully this isn't of an antagonist, but of a character that becomes a major protagonist later in the series.
Picture14-1.png
Yea, I'm literally throwing in this character because I feel as if every major series needs to follow the red-haired half-naked fighter cliche established in Tengen Toppa Gurren Laggan (yea, big Yoko Littner fan :B). Though she's not really a woman hailing from a tribe as her appearance may state, she just dresses as shown so she can look hot and kick ass for today's standards. And I've decided to include a rear view of her so you can also see her nice... er... You can figure it out. ^^;

Feedback and good Japanese name suggestions requested.

Meet the very possible next hot woman in the series.

A woman that had went through two designs before I settled on this one; Introducing: Ranaka.
Much like the goth boy I had shown previously (whom I've decided to call Gotobuki), she will be an antagonist for the "Darkness" side-chapter. Much like Kurayami, she has a very (er... Slutty?") appearance, wearing mostly a fishnet outfit with a bra made from vest fabric and blue-violet jeans torn in the back, for sex appeal, even if she's not into being "sexy" as much as Britly is. Like all Darkness characters, she can use large numbers of different magic and spells, though I haven't conformed what her powers will be, but let's just say it'll allow multiple fan-service shots with what she does with her melee skills.

I'll leave you to your opinions.

Unoriginality: Exactly what doujins have.

And of course that's judging by Rosenkreuzstilette.

Yea I got a few sketches drawn, and I decided to upload them. Go figure. Though for these, I sort of had mixed reactions towards the first sketch, but for the second one, they were more positive. In fact, I originally did not intend to upload the first sketch because it just seemed so "bad". You'll see why in a moment.

This is the first one, which I did last Friday, and made small edits to today. When designing her, I had the White Mage from Square Enix' Final Fantasy series, and Matt Roszak (whom is a person I deeply regret trolling back in '09)'s Natalie, from the Epic Battle Fantasy flash game series. She's supposed to be a badass-type princess wielding a long staff and uses a large variety of magic attacks and such, but the way I drew her, she looks like a cross between Spirita Rosenberg and Pamela Arwig (both from Rosenkreuzstilette).

So yea, unless anyone wants to (try to) re-draw her, I'm going to keep her out of the series until I come up with a good concept for a badass princess. Anyways moving on...

Yea I know this one looks like shit with how the iPod Touch's camera took it, but hopefully you should be able to see it and the accompanying font just fine. If I need to transcribe it so it can be read, just let me know.

Anyways, this is kind of like a businessman, but it's not. It's a man is his late 20's who enjoys gambling and classic pop music, so much that he uses his dance techniques and a deck of playing cards to kick ass. Yea I had him on the mind for quite some time, and thanks to the fact that I have the ability to sketch decent rough drafts, I can finally show him to you guys.

Oh yeah his appearance;... He was inspired by some guy that I remember being from some kind of advertising video for a car of some sorts. (three "some"s in a row XD) I don't remember what it was off, but I remember long ago seeing a Youtube Poop made from it.

So that's it for today. And oh yeah, Japanese names are still deeply wanted.

Another character concept?

Why yes.

Of all things, I've got another character drafted out today. Sorry ladies and gentlemen. I'm going to be in school for quite some time, so expect these during my downtime. And what is it I have this time?
This character I had mentioned some time ago, so that means it's not an entirely new concept; just one I haven't revealed yet. This is a rough draft (in designing purposes) for another character from the series. Believe it or not, he's an antagonist of the "Darkness" sub-chapter, whose appearance is based on a specific person I know of in real life, combined with several sick gothic traits. He's an altered human being with an almost permeant grin on his mouth, with a greatly torn up outfit. His lack of eyes in his sockets, his long tongue, and the eyeball that sometimes shoots out is the result of an experiment gone wrong. Just like the grand majority of the characters in this sub-series, he is a magic user. What else would you be if you originated from a world filled with technology and ancient gothic structures amok?

And yea, I understand that I'm not the greatest character designer ever. Keep in mind this may not be his final appearance.

Plus... Name suggestions anyone?

Witch #5 rough sketch showcase.

Yea I missed a few week's worth of new stuff from the series, but I'll get to that later. For now, let me show you something that I drew up in school today.
Picture9.png
Sorry if the pic is small, the scanner that I've had for a while now is starting to show it's age, so I was only able to get a preview scan, what you see here, and upload it.

This character is the only remaining member of the witch clan that Kurayami leads. He's like an inspired mashup of several human male characters from a number of sources, specializing in using a trio of daggers to attack. I will reveal his witch form in text sometime later. In the meantime, feel free to suggest improvements and changes to him to make him more original, or not as homosexual looking. As for his footwear; basic brown boots.
