You all probably remember these seven misfits, the Prism Robots, which I had fabricating in my brain starting from around September 2016 before through 2017 and 2018 and beyond I slowly got the team designed one-by-one by a few artists and now the team is complete. So who are they?
In short, they were designed as a personal take of and a homage to the weaponized/armored boss characters from Inti Creates' Azure Striker Gunvolt series, namely the first and second installments. Some of them ended up being a bit too obvious to whom they were homaging despite the differences between Gunvolt's roster of antagonists and these rainbow-themed androids.
For now, the Prism Robots are keeping their current looks as right now I'm focused on getting what ideas I have left out the door and realized, but sometime in the future if I have both the budget and the time, the seven Prism Robots will get extensive tweaks to their appearances to make the references to Azure Striker Gunvolt more vague.
