A plethora of sketches!

Update: Added some names to the un-named characters.

Just updating real quick with sketches I've drawn since the past few weeks.

Character 1: Genroy

Character 2: Name TBA

Character 3: Name TBA

Character 4: Name TBA

Character 5: TaiYang

Character 6: Orochi (Orocho if the "i" at the end is not suited for his gender)

Character 7: Kenta (Kento if the "a" at the end is not suited for his gender)

Character 8: Name TBA

Character 9: Name TBA

Character 10: Masayoshi

Character 11: Saniko

Just for clarification issues or whatnot, there is a reason why I have to write "heterosexual" under all these characters just for that certain fanbase to not come under the assumption that my characters are "homo gay".

There is also a reason why I ask for criticism on my character designs; so I can make them better.

Gooday.

Gotobuki Sketch Enhancement

Only a bit minor for an update, but I decided to shade in my sketch of Gotobuki that I did in early September.
708710bc.jpg
In actuality, it's still the same guy, just with the darker parts being identifiable. I'm also posting this because I 'm planning to draw up Gotobuki for my next legit piece of art. From there I can hopefully show off his claws and other features.

Wish me luck!

Commission/Fan art Update

Long time no see, buddies. I've decided to showcase a few more art that I've gotten over the course of the last month.
This little cute pic was made for me by Liquid10, who's always been quite kind to me, even in situations where I turn irate for any reason. As you can tell, it was intended to be a birthday gift for me (wish other of my friends did that), however it was sorta delayed until September. Regardless, L10 put his faith into Keisha and Sakaki as he does with all his and his friends' characters. Thanks again, pal.

Now for the stuff that I actually had to pay for.
Superjustinbrosvinzenznf.png
This is art of Vinzenz, a recent character of mine that I commissioned Haychel to draw, which once it was completed, sparked a bit of controversy from a previous commissioner that commissioned Rosenkreuzstilette (Had quite a history convincing people I liked that series, and so on). But in honesty, who cares.

The pic overall is of great quality, and the original sketch I did up was enough to get the full detail on the colors and whatnot. Overall, a good effort that doesn't disappoint.

This last pic is from Jastur-Axmus is of a character whom is also a recent OC of mine, Ranaka. She's one of those sexual female villain characters I cannot stop making (it's a passion!). It's a beautiful piece that shows off my favorite human female body part (*gulps*), and has a great posing, coloring and shading job. Only thing is that the background, as simple as it may seem, really can distract from the actual character, and I feel as if the buttocks could have been a little more rounded, but like I always say, no one is perfect.

Okay, that's all or now.

Modern mages in 21st century. What else?

Here's another sketch that I'm sure not many people will see since I'm so underrated.
Picture2.png
This is another character with magenta-maroon hair and mid-dark skin, whom I'm deciding to call Zesiro. He's a 20-year old male mage/wizard, and like all of my male characters to this date, he's heterosexual, only fancying in having love to a female. He's a resident of a town in Europe, where one of the later plots of the Aozora's Adventure series takes place. As with all of my other mage/wizard/witch/sorcerer characters, he has many different abilities at his disposal. But unlike the other characters of this type, he does not have an alternative transformation, rather he can adjust his own body parts for any scenario he needs, provided it's a simple transformation to one or more of his body parts and not something complex. (Think of Eve from Black Cat and you'll get it)

Well I'm running out of time, so I'll wrap it up here. Catch 'ya later.

Aquatic Life is Miracle x100.

NOTE: Some parts about this post may become a little strange, rarely for a blog like this where I rarely bring up anything strange. If you are somehow disgusted by the following dialogue, my biggest apologies. I promise this will be the only time I will discuss something that comes close to the miracle of life, unless I must bring it up again.

Ah yes, Mermaids. As one of the world's most beloved mythological hybrids, they simply need no introduction. But for a little brief saying, all mythological hybrid creatures are basically humans with the lower half of their body, where their legs would normally be, as the lower half of a specific animal/aquatic creature, and given several traits of the animal they resemble. In the case of mermaids and their male merman counterparts, they have the lower half of their bodies as fish tails, and the ability of unlimited breath underwater.

For how I interpret mythological hybrids (mostly limited to centaurs, nagas/lamias, and of course mermaids/mermen) in my works, mainly in NSFW territory, they should be more realistic to the animals they represent. Besides just looking like they are, they share most, if not all the original traits, including their diets, anatomical structure, and reproduction methods. If the animal it represents has horns, it has horns. If it has a tail, it has a tail. If it has sharp teeth, it has sharp teeth. If it reproduces through eggs, then I'll leave you to imagine the scenario. The only major difference with hybrids is alongside the upper human body, the ability to cumulate better with humans and other types of hybrid species, a trait not usually associated with the animal kingdom.

But before I turn this into a fantasized mammalogy class complete with explicit stuff, hybrids that are based of carnivorous animals, like centaur-lions and nagas, are the nasty faces of these hybrids. While there are friendly varieties that don't choose to eat specific hybrid species, like my own Ziki, these carnivorous hybrids will often attack and eat their victims alive. In the case of females killing and feasting on males, they will "make love" to the male before killing and devouring them. Rarely, the good-hearted female naga may allow the male victim to live, often keeping it as a secret from the rest of the tribe. This whole story also works with the lesser-known male nagas killing a female.

So I've already given you enough stories to vomit to today. After you're finished with the toilet, let's start focusing on mermaids only and the ones that will appear in Aozora's Adventure. Afterwards, I'll say a few last words before I close the post.

Mermaids aren't common in this world, although they do exist. They were more or less creatures brought to Earth due to a very complex European science experiment to bring mythological hybrids into reality by combining genes and DNA with both humans and animals. They created two creatures, a single white mermaid and white merman (as white is supposably every color put together, according to spectrums), and released them into the ocean to mate and spread off offspring through the seven seas. So to sum this up, they were treated as endangered species, and by several months, mermaids and mermen began to grow intelligence and construct underwater cities and temples, and developed basic combat skills to fight off predators of basic fish and other enemies. The mermaids/mermen are not "magic" and thus cannot transform their fish tails into human legs and do the same (or vice versa) to other humans and mermaids. While female mermaids do possess good singing skills, it is not possible for them to sing to distract/lure away/lure to death people.

The main and most well-known mermaid of the series would be this one: Nanami.
AsAMermaidChara.jpg
The blue and somewhat snooty mermaid was one of the earlier mermaids born from the experiment, with an age equivalent to a 22-year-old healthy human female. She is one of the few high-ranked elite mermaid warriors in the oceans to be a female, and had learned how to move on land by slithering her tail like a snake (yea, don't know if that's a jumping the shark moment, but hey, she can breathe on air since she has the traits of not only fish, but also humans).

Her main weapon is (what a shock) a trident that not only can do basic strikes thanks to its long size and sharpness, but it's also infused with electricity, which allows for heavy powerful strikes. Well this electricity is an alternative kind that doesn't conduct in water (well it does, but it only goes such a distance before it dies down). As you'd expect, she's stronger in aquatic environments because that's where she spends most of her life in.

Strange to think this is the first major mermaid character since after all the ones from my reject of a "franchise" got thrown down the toilet. Well at least this one doesn't look like a Mermaid Melody Pichi Pichi Pitch knockoff, which I'm proud of myself for giving her so much shite to wear, besides just a shell bra.

Well that's it for now. Hopefully I'll get to writing more bios of the characters on the Wiki, including of the recent ones. As for the previous character in the last post, I'm leaning over to calling him "Vinzenz" (yeah, a German name. Not only the Japanese can think of good names).

See ya.

Everyone loves a good Transformation fetish.

Yea I'm here with another darn update. Expect these to come and go quite often. I know no one really reads this blog, but not only do I want to show you the sketch, I also wanted to explain some things.

As I had stated previously, people seem to think I'm fading into oblivion since I'm not updating my deviantART gallery often. Your answer as to why I'm busy is because I get sidetracked way too easily nowadays, plus since I'm somewhat losing the interest of drawing knowing that I won't get much (if any) positive feedback, especially from those I want to get praised by since I've followed them for a good damn long time, and even tried to give them a good laugh once in a while. I'm not attempting to stir up trouble, so I won't go ahead and reveal whom is it that I want commenting, favoriting, and critiquing my art; but if you know me, you might be able to figure it out if you or someone you know is a wanted critic/fan/friend.

Speaking of criticism, I promise the new art I submit to deviantART will incorporate several tidbits of criticism I had received in my last art of Fakhriya. It will continue to have the less-blocky lineart, as well as sharper finer edges, plus will have the dual-layer cell shading in all areas, not just parts I feel are necessary to have such. I'll continue to take critiques on future works just so I don't feel like a coward with no life, including this one that I'm doing based on the sketch I did last Friday.

I do not aim to be the world's greatest artist. Very few people have even accomplished such a feat, and since it would take me years and years, I'm just not going to bother with it. It's not possible to please every single person on this planet, as everyone will develop different opinions over various subjects, my art style and Aozora's Adventure included. Just as I said I'm not aiming to be the world's perfect artist, I'm also not aiming to make my OC's become the greatest creations on the planet and thus, possibly get the licenses from fellow webcomic/doujin artists to have their characters make major cameos in the series. Please just get those facts deep into your brain.

Now before I go and show you today's sketch, I need to point out a thing with all of my characters. All of my characters are heterosexual, meaning that none of them will develop a sexual relationship/interest in another character of the same gender, despite several of the males having slim and smooth designs and/or outfits. Take Higure for instance; even though he's dressed in a latex violet jumpsuit, he's not homosexual, he's just an excessively active fighter with a lust for busty females. Though I do know that when some trolls/haters call someone like this "gay," they're referring to the design being crappy in their opinion, and in rare cases: jealously.

So now that I made my point, here's the sketch. Note that I modified it in Photoshop to make it easier to tell the skin from the armor. If you must see the original, it's here.
Lazy editing is lazy. :B

Here's another character that should be a homage to most of you fellow otakus. A speedy modern barbarian warrior from the Darkness sub-series with great strength and his main weapon of choice is a large sword that is almost the same size as he is. While he is part of the team of Darkness protagonists, he does not spend much time with his allies and prefers to work alone (yea common cliche) unless his allies are in desperate need. In combat, he is clad in flexible but strong white, grey, and black metallic steel armor that reveals most of his skin, as if I'm not making enough Witchblade homages already with loads of fan-service with the busty female characters; wait until you see Kurayami's transformed state. Now I give the traits of the Witch/Clone/Dualblade to a male character from a completely different series, let alone an Indie one? Well the Aozora's Adventure series is also a parody series, and the transformation is triggered by excessive stress, anger, and worry; though I cannot conform it's identical to or different than Witchblade because I have never seen the Witchblade anime, and thus don't know what causes the transformation in that series. Much like Witchblade, the transformation causes the user to shed the majority of his/her clothing, and the reason why I say majority is because in the Aozora's Adventure series, specific characters who have this "grow armor" transformation, shared between Kurayami, Blake, Adelvina, the un-named fifth witch, and this character only shed their existing clothing and grow new fabric/latex alongside the hard armor, giving the viewer a naked silhouette just before the armor forms from their skin. To give an example of this, Adelvina, when undergoing her transformation, grows a black catsuit with red highlights with ruby-colored armor wrapped around it, the same kind this character shown above has. The ruby armor also grows around her two spherical ponytails, allowing Adelvina better control of them in attacks, and giving her the ability to sprout spikes from them. Yea, that's how I use my imagination to the limits.

Anyways back to this character. Once transformed, this character is granted great strength from the armor that sprouted on his body and black pants, plus he can call upon his giant sword, which he holds in his hands with pretty much no trouble at all. It can be swung at great speeds, even with just one hand, and can also be controlled with his mind to float and arc in the air. The sword is capable of firing powerful white atomic blasts, which require the user to charge before firing.

Okay, I think I said enough about this guy. Of course I didn't give him a name yet since I'm just so lazy. :P See you next time.

I has a new character?

Whoops, hit Enter a little too early. XD

But yea, let us begin.

I'm here with an all-out new sketcharoo, on the second TGIF of this school year. Thankfully this isn't of an antagonist, but of a character that becomes a major protagonist later in the series.
Picture14-1.png
Yea, I'm literally throwing in this character because I feel as if every major series needs to follow the red-haired half-naked fighter cliche established in Tengen Toppa Gurren Laggan (yea, big Yoko Littner fan :B). Though she's not really a woman hailing from a tribe as her appearance may state, she just dresses as shown so she can look hot and kick ass for today's standards. And I've decided to include a rear view of her so you can also see her nice... er... You can figure it out. ^^;

Feedback and good Japanese name suggestions requested.

Meet the very possible next hot woman in the series.

A woman that had went through two designs before I settled on this one; Introducing: Ranaka.
Much like the goth boy I had shown previously (whom I've decided to call Gotobuki), she will be an antagonist for the "Darkness" side-chapter. Much like Kurayami, she has a very (er... Slutty?") appearance, wearing mostly a fishnet outfit with a bra made from vest fabric and blue-violet jeans torn in the back, for sex appeal, even if she's not into being "sexy" as much as Britly is. Like all Darkness characters, she can use large numbers of different magic and spells, though I haven't conformed what her powers will be, but let's just say it'll allow multiple fan-service shots with what she does with her melee skills.

I'll leave you to your opinions.

Unoriginality: Exactly what doujins have.

And of course that's judging by Rosenkreuzstilette.

Yea I got a few sketches drawn, and I decided to upload them. Go figure. Though for these, I sort of had mixed reactions towards the first sketch, but for the second one, they were more positive. In fact, I originally did not intend to upload the first sketch because it just seemed so "bad". You'll see why in a moment.

This is the first one, which I did last Friday, and made small edits to today. When designing her, I had the White Mage from Square Enix' Final Fantasy series, and Matt Roszak (whom is a person I deeply regret trolling back in '09)'s Natalie, from the Epic Battle Fantasy flash game series. She's supposed to be a badass-type princess wielding a long staff and uses a large variety of magic attacks and such, but the way I drew her, she looks like a cross between Spirita Rosenberg and Pamela Arwig (both from Rosenkreuzstilette).

So yea, unless anyone wants to (try to) re-draw her, I'm going to keep her out of the series until I come up with a good concept for a badass princess. Anyways moving on...

Yea I know this one looks like shit with how the iPod Touch's camera took it, but hopefully you should be able to see it and the accompanying font just fine. If I need to transcribe it so it can be read, just let me know.

Anyways, this is kind of like a businessman, but it's not. It's a man is his late 20's who enjoys gambling and classic pop music, so much that he uses his dance techniques and a deck of playing cards to kick ass. Yea I had him on the mind for quite some time, and thanks to the fact that I have the ability to sketch decent rough drafts, I can finally show him to you guys.

Oh yeah his appearance;... He was inspired by some guy that I remember being from some kind of advertising video for a car of some sorts. (three "some"s in a row XD) I don't remember what it was off, but I remember long ago seeing a Youtube Poop made from it.

So that's it for today. And oh yeah, Japanese names are still deeply wanted.

Another character concept?

Why yes.

Of all things, I've got another character drafted out today. Sorry ladies and gentlemen. I'm going to be in school for quite some time, so expect these during my downtime. And what is it I have this time?
This character I had mentioned some time ago, so that means it's not an entirely new concept; just one I haven't revealed yet. This is a rough draft (in designing purposes) for another character from the series. Believe it or not, he's an antagonist of the "Darkness" sub-chapter, whose appearance is based on a specific person I know of in real life, combined with several sick gothic traits. He's an altered human being with an almost permeant grin on his mouth, with a greatly torn up outfit. His lack of eyes in his sockets, his long tongue, and the eyeball that sometimes shoots out is the result of an experiment gone wrong. Just like the grand majority of the characters in this sub-series, he is a magic user. What else would you be if you originated from a world filled with technology and ancient gothic structures amok?

And yea, I understand that I'm not the greatest character designer ever. Keep in mind this may not be his final appearance.

Plus... Name suggestions anyone?

Witch #5 rough sketch showcase.

Yea I missed a few week's worth of new stuff from the series, but I'll get to that later. For now, let me show you something that I drew up in school today.
Picture9.png
Sorry if the pic is small, the scanner that I've had for a while now is starting to show it's age, so I was only able to get a preview scan, what you see here, and upload it.

This character is the only remaining member of the witch clan that Kurayami leads. He's like an inspired mashup of several human male characters from a number of sources, specializing in using a trio of daggers to attack. I will reveal his witch form in text sometime later. In the meantime, feel free to suggest improvements and changes to him to make him more original, or not as homosexual looking. As for his footwear; basic brown boots.

Aozora's Liquid10 2011 Montage Cameo

Yea, every-time I see fanart of one of my own characters, no matter how big or small, it's going here. Live with it.

So what am I here to state? Well it's not as major as the Blake picture I showcased the other day, but it has Aozora and Joker to say the least. What am I talking about?

Liquid10's recent OC montage, that's what. Well looking for the two is more like a Where's Waldo scenario. They're crammed into the back with a mad bunch of other OC's belonging to Liquid10's friends. But I can't really complain, there's perhaps around 100 characters splotched into the image, and if all of them were the same size, it'd be more crowed then than a boy's changing room during a busy collage day. So to make things simple, I cropped the image into the part that shows Aozora ready to kick some nuts and bolts and the Joker preparing for a sneak attack, greying out any of the other characters not involved with my indie series.
Now do the world a favor and go support Liquid10's masterpiece. There's other beloved OC's that need love.

Blake, according to atamask

I got a new commissioned piece from deviantArtist Atamask, of none other than Blake, the male witch antagonist. Self-explanatory.
Yea, it was actually a very cheap price. Only for $20 I got this in return. It's badass. The background perfectly reflects Blake's color scheme and personality (I need to get off my lazy ass and write a detailed biography of him).

Go show Atamask your support. Simple as that.

Our favorite Witches of Evil on vacation (slight NSFW)

For $31 USD, I was able to commission deviantARTist Skyraptor to draw up some group artwork of Kurayami, Adelvina, and Alisha (the later whom was designed by SimirrorofShadows). out on the beach after a long day at their dark brisk mansion. He calls the piece "Sunset Girls".
1-SunsetGirls.jpg
Yea you can tell a lot of people really fancy the queen of darkness (at least for this indie series). It's also the first time we see Alisha in full color following SimirrorofShadow's original sketch, but I'm thing the hair and eyes should be a little more yellowish. And I also want to note the body paint patterns on Kurayami are entirely absent. No problem with that, guess you can say they just washed off.

But aside from that, Skyraptor did an amazing job portraying the three witches. Speaking of, Skyraptor also provided me with some additional bonus artwork. See for yourself.

New early concept drafts.

As I had promised, during my trip to upstate New York, I drew up some rough drafts of potential characters for the series. Note that these are rough drafts, so they don't look as professionally done as my art on deviantART, but I was away from my computer, so I didn't really have access to Photoshop and Poser. But anyways, here they are, and feel free to critique their design and modify it to your liking. And for crying out loud, don't criticize them for the bad anatomy. They're just rough drafts!

First: The well-anticipated "darkness" side-story protagonist. Here with the pencil sketch, his main colors appear to be lighter than they really are. Plus, I forgot to mention he also wears a torn-up tuxedo at times rather than the lather jacket. As you can see, he's a male gothic punk similar to Blake, but this character is not a villain, despite being from the same dimension.
AsARockCharaConcepts.jpg
Then we have the other two characters. These come from the regular universe; no alternative dimensions, but they are slightly inspired by two characters that perhaps no one knows. The arabian-styled girl on the left is based on (but not a direct rip-off/homage of) the slutty dark-skinned (sorry for the bad interpretation) egyptian boss from Crayon Shin-Chan: Arashi o Yobu: Nendororo n Daihenshin (image here). And sure enough, this girl too, has the same personality as the woman whom she is based on (though the way I drew my character, she looks like she's 17, when in reality, she's supposed to be in the early 20's).

The second character is based on my friend CaisBarlin69's original character, Cais Barlin. However, there are several noticeable differences, like this guy being a wild punk rock-star whom uses a guitar that shoots sonic booms (hmm... where have I heard this before?).

Please note my friends, that I'm not trying to be unoriginal here. I'm attempting to create my own characters so I don't have to steal those from others. And apparently there are the (non-final) designs I came up with during my weekend vacation. Like 'em or not, they're here to say. If you feel as if they're not detailed or designed well enough and originally, go ahead and leave your opinions.

From hell these girls came...

Yea. More commissioned pieces. I swear they're meant to please people. It's like you getting fanart, though not for free. Anyways we have two commissioned pieces from Sprite37 and FBende. We got series antagonist Kurayami and recently-designed protagonist Mara from these two spectacular artists. Hopefully over the summer I'll have more money to blow on commissions and hopefully increase the series' popularity. And the Aozora's Advneture Re-Vamp Project is in the works, but has not started yet. In the meantime, here are the two images I got. Be sure to head over to each of their dA accounts to give them proper praise and feedback!

Money makes the world go 'round, and they buy commishes.

As ironic as it sounds, I recently got this supa-tacular Aozora chibi from popular deviantART user BluC.
And I also wanted to mention that I think Aozora should somewhat resemble both Ryan and IceCreamMouth's interoperation's, but based on the climate (in his world) his jacket and shirt will change to either Ryan's in the summer, and IceCreamMouth's in the winter. The boots will also undergo this as well, but they will be longer in the winter. Sorry if this change is somewhat upsetting, but remember, this is my series.

Neo-er Aozora?

That's mighty darn right. If you've been paying attention to my deviantART account, you might have noticed that my new Aozora art is complete, which was generally Ryan's proposed re-design. Less than three days later, I'm given this by a good pal of mine (whom also happens to give me quite an amount of critiques, all constructive) known as Icecreammouth, showing his interpretation of Ryan's design.
superjustinbro__s_neo_aozora_by_icecreammouth-d3h9d9d.png
At least he decided to put my art of Aozora up along with his. Saves me some trouble. But otherwise, this third re-imagining replaces the metal ear plates with larger black ones, increased the depth of the goggles, gave Aozora a different jacket that matches his pilot cap (not helmet), changed the belt, and integrates the single belt over the boots, so it looks like it's actually part of the boot itself. Do I like this design? Well, take a wild guess.

Yes! Of course I do! :D

Now let me bargain on this for a sec. Sure I do accept most, if not every critique I receive, but once again, it's how critiques here work. I'm not going to draw Aozora again anytime soon since I just finished up art of him, and I wanna work on something else. For you Kurayami lovers out there, I got good news for you. There is new art of her in progress. It's NSFW, so if you can't tolerate that sort of art, then I'd recommend just not looking at it entirely. Otherwise, the Aozora's Adventure Re-Vamp project is looking strong.

Tuesday, May 3, 2011

Aozora's Adventure may be going through re-vamp session in summer.

Yep, because FINALLY someone bothered to look at my series and write up some constructive criticism!

Yep, that's right. One of my buds from school, Ryan McConnachie (please don't look him up, for his own safety! When he creates a new DA account, I'll link to it!), wrote up some comments and suggestions for the Aozora's Adventure series and gave them to me today. To say the least, I'm happy that someone actually thought well enough into the series that he suggested some things I could improve on to make the series hopefully stand out much more than it already is, whatever that means.

So, let me explain, unlike what a lot of people on deviantART would assume, I don't mind criticism or take it as something negative. I know that criticism serves the purpose of helping someone improve by suggesting changes they could implement into whatever they created. But apparently, when someone is first introduced to it, usually it means the person didn't like the final outcome and is requesting changes. But in most case scenarios you'd already be too deep in progress of something or already finished it to the point where you're not willing to go back and make changes. Then there are the people that just show no interest into lending out a hand by simply stating "it sucks" without giving a proper reason why. Even if you don't like someone's artwork enough to at least give it a favorite, it would be nice to explain why exactly you do not like the art. But if it's for a pointless reason, such as "I don't like this character," then that would be the time to ignore rather than be a wuss.

But in this scenario, I can roll out the suggested changes slowly. Not right this minute since I'd have to go and edit pretty much this blog, my main blog, and the Wiki in response to the series name change. But for now, let me discuss the changes that Ryan had requested.
RyansAozora.png
This is his interpretation of the series' protagonist, Aozora. It takes my initial design and adds a couple new features. First, Aozora's pilot cap is given a slight change, his blonde hair is much longer and now shoots out the front and back ends of his head, he now wears a leather jacket imprinted with his personal logo, a different belt, saggier jeans, and more exotic-looking boots, rather than the cyan shoes he wore previously. I like this.
RyansAozora.png
This is the other character he drew. As you can see, this is supposed to be Joker, one of the series' main antagonists initially designed by SimirrorofShadows, but unlike with Aozora's enhancement, this one appears to take away every trait that Joker has. This one is more roudy and less calm, he looks a lot younger, and it just doesn't suit his calm personality. As a remake of Skye, this could work, but as the leader of a professional clan of assassins named after card suits, not really.

Then we came to the criticism itself. Below is a exact word-for-word transistion. Note I'm not trying to make him sound like a criminal, just wanted everyone to understand what he's saying. Again, he's not a bad dude, trust me! ;_;

Notes:
- You should update the wiki with a detailed plot summery
- I can revise and assist you with your plot and characters.
- When crafting a story, give it a moral to teach. An overall central theme.
-Do NOT make this theme: "Teamwork" "Friendship" "Never Give Up" etc.
- Give your characters defining traits. For example:
Laharl
- hates sexy women
- Loves his Overlordship
- Has an iconic evil laugh

Adell
- hates women
- uses things only in his "own style"
- extremely earnest

(NIS always does this)
- Consider renaming the series. Perhaps just to "Aozora"
- Lots of sexy women! I don't know how many you have planned, but you might want to give a few of them... smaller "features"
[picture of Keisha with large breasts, struggling and saying ("Rrrr...")]
Not many actual women could have breasts like that and stand up straight.

So yeah. There it is. In reply, I state the following. Again, no harm intended in any way. Remember this is my series, so I can do whatever the kcuf I want with it. If any extremely popular webcomic artist or a fan of those types of people want to complain, SU.

-Aozora's Adventure was always intended to be a collaborative effort, where people I know, plus a couple of others, designed characters to help with expanding the roster. Some of them were actually pretty well-done, while others were like "meh". The main cast of characters, Aozora, Zik, Sakaki, and Satoru, were all designed when the series just launched following the cancelation of my previous failed experiment, Super Justin. So my character-designing skills were a little shallow back then. I wouldn't mind re-designing some of these characters, or relying on others. Again, just to make sure I'm not lazy, I'm not requiring anyone here to design any characters, but it would be nice if I could get some real good artists, webcomic authors, and/or character designers. Even if I have to pay a good fine, unless it's over $50 or they don't allow me commissioning that kind of stuff.
-Same for the plot, but I'm pretty much in control of that. :P
-I never intended the series to have a theme of any kind. I just wanted the series to be created just so I could have some characters that I could call my own. Plus, now that you mention it, I would probably never have intended to have one of the three themes Ryan described. Sure I am planning to have some casual moments where the main characters attend school and stuff, but not have an entire episode/chapter focused on a "Slice of Life" story. I want the Aozora's Adventure series to be action-packed, violent, comedic, and simply interesting. Unlike Super Justin, I am not aiming to make Aozora kid-friendly, but more for teenagers and adults, which is what shonen manga and most anime not bastardized by 4kids is.
-Plus, Aozora's Adventure is somewhat supposed to be a parody/spoof/tribute to/of some of the major anime series I know of. Kind of like all those Mega Man-styled doujin games that surfaced in the late 2000's.
-Most, if not all of the characters all have their own traits, but I have never bothered to implement or write them on the Wiki. They're there, but just,.. not there. ^^; Maybe in the future.
-I am considering to rename the series just Jitsuwa. Aozora's Adventure initially started as Aozora Jitsuwa, then Zora's Adventure, then what it's known as now. Because Wikia doesn't let you change the name of your wiki in the blink of an eye and create an appropriate re-direct to the newer version, this may take a little longer than expected. Of course, I'm open to any more exotic titles, but we'll see where things go.
-The "lots of sexy women" tag-line is a staple of a good number of T/M-rated anime and video game series, which are entirely fiction and are thus, often not supposed to be realistic. And Keisha's breasts are average-sized, not oversized. Kurayami has her figure the way it is because she's supposed to be quick, swift, and powerful, sort of like a hybrid of Masane Amaha of Witchblade and Bayonetta from the game of the same name. Same goes for Britly. I can probably drop the breast size of Kurayami and, Britly by short amounts, but remember, it's fiction, so don't expect things to be realistic unless you're making a biography anime. In these cases, none of the characters can't or shouldn't really struggle or topple over with that breast size. Besides, breasts can get that big in anime and I don't see the females struggling. :|

So yea, that's a wrap. I'll discuss more about these changes and a few other tid-bits about the series in the future. If he creates an account on dA, I'll go discuss these changes in more depth. For now, get!
Oh sorry, was that rude of me? Well, What about "good bye?"

About the side stories of the series.

Since I just recently added some concepts to the series, I decided to better explain what plots will unfold throughout my OC series.

First, the one we all know, the main plot story with Aozora, Satoru, and the rest of the gang, which takes place in the near future, during a time when (of course) a league of assassins known as the A. C. E. S. attempts to terrorize Japan, and a few months later, the eight witches that I haven't even done the concept for the fifth. Self explanatory.

The second of these plots is more or less a prequel to the entire series, starring Aozora's ancestor from the 1700's, Amano. When (of course again) Asia is the target of an unknown evil, Amano steps into a Japanese town, is told of the threats, and then embarks on a journey to settle the score.

Amano I already have an article of on my personal Wiki, so no need to describe him again.

But about the other characters in this prequel story?
Well... first off, one idea that I think could work as an ally to Amano is an eleven-year-old wearing an yellow kimono with black outlingings, large, beady eyes, and brown mushroom-shaped hair. It's supposed to be a take-on of the semi-main protagonist of the Japanese children's novel "The Classroom with an Alien in it" which I had showcased last year on my main blog.
This pic should explain better.
Yes, I really got this lazy, and just pulled out Photobooth. Don't really feel like wasting time, especially at 10 in the evening. And note my character will not be an exact interpretation of this guy, just somewhat similar in shape and size, plus with an added interest in Hanafuda.

Another character whom I was thinking of putting in was a large (no offense) guy wearing a purple kimono, who has the shape of a sumo fighter, with the traditional Asian black ponytail. Besides him, there are two other allies to Amano that I'm considering to add, one a badass male warrior character, in a dark-blue kimono, with a red and yellow outfit, and a glamorous female who wields a parasol.

The antagonists consist of one leader, and five other members. One of them is a woman with dark pale violet hair done in the traditional Chinese woman fashion who can strike a humorous chuckle when overjoyed.

But overall, how did I get this idea? Well, near the end of August, I attended this Japanese/oriental themed festival where the book described above could be purchased (as well as several Japanese-language manga, none that I'm familiar with though.). I heard oriental-themed music, and because music gets my motivation going, bang. The oriental-themed story was born, though I wouldn't release the concepts about two months after. I'll reveal more about this concept in the future.

Anyways, onto the newest idea I had developed this week:

I was thinking of doing another spinoff series focusing on a new clan of protagonists and antagonists. The protagonists consist of six gothic characters wearing dark hair colors, their planed concepts shown below.

The main entry of this gang is a 20-year old that has somewhat of a zany personality, has long, spiky, dark navy blue hair with the outlines drawn in neon blue, blue evilish eyes, sharp teeth, a very well-detailed outfit made of a open dark blue tuxedo (with a strange shape), some yellow belts wrapped around parts of it, and black, saggy long jeans with blue patterns. I don't really know how to describe him as of yet, so I'll wait for when I try to draw him before I showcase his appearance. Other than that, I also want to mention he's an expert in guns and swords, and adores killing and fighting things with such.

His closest ally, at this time, is a Jamaican-esque dark-skinned guy (whose main color scheme is red and varying shades of orange) that has pyrokinesis. His short but thick dreadlocks are bright orange, drawn with red highlights, which gets brighter of dimmer depending on his state and power. I haven't really decided on what outfit to give him as of yet, but I want it to have some relation to his suggested color scheme, but not to the point where he looks like an exact replica of Blake. :P

The third character will be the love interest of the main character of this side-story, and will share a somewhat similar appearance to Sakaki, but not down to the exact detail. This girl will have much darker and shorter hair (with possibly an added ponytail), many tattoos and markings on her skin, and a more revealing (but still well detailed) outfit, plus a serious, badass personality.

One other character that I think would do well is a 16-year old "loli-devil girl" like Etna from Disgaea and Luste Teuber from Rosenkreuzstilette. She won't have wings, but she would have some form of black and green pointed tail (which can be used to attack). She has bushy, neon green hair, pointy ears, a small bikini top (to cover her flat breasts, a large gauntlet on her right hand that reaches up to her shoulder, and navy blue jeans that are entirely absent on only her right side, with the left (intact) side being very messy, with multiple wrinkles and some patches. Like Etna and Luste, she is joyfull and playful, but can get upset easily.

There are two other protagonists I'd like to consider adding alongside these four, both male.

As for the antagonists, I haven't thought of one for this new side-story, but I do have apossible idea for an assistant of the main antagonist. He has no eyeballs (somewhat like 2-D from the Gorillaz band), so he has a black band and long, black hair with yellow streaks covering the empty sockets, and a wicked smile. As a spooky taunt, sometimes when he sticks his tongue out, a moving eyeball appears on top of the tip, alongside his razor-sharp teeth. He has a very large gun as his main weapon of choice. His colors consist of mainly dark pale yellow, black, and some maroon.

So now that I summed up the current roster of characters, I'll talk about the setting; the place where these characters reside.

The main setting is an alternative universe that is mostly filled with many urban areas that are well-advanced in technological aspects, as well as a great numbers of castles, dungeons, and towers modeled after the traditional classic gothic structure. The lightest it ever gets in this world is mid sunrise/set, and lighting is common. On top of that, the vast desert plains, forests, mountains, and abandoned castles and dungeons are filled with various strange monsters and creatures. And unlike our dimension, the ones that reside in this world are much more strange, darker, and more vicious.

The two dimensions are linked via (what else but) dimensional portals, something created by Toshi after meeting a strange person (whom I have no concepts for). To further connect the two worlds, this is where Kurayami and the other Withches initially originated, using their black magic to warp to our dimension. In that dimension, they remained in their transformed states forever, and getting sick of their times there, they warped in desire to cause ruckus in Aozora's world.

So that's what I got for now. I wish I could co-lab with some of my good friends on this idea, but something tells me I'd better be off on my own. If you want to help, be my guest.

Anatema's Keisha

Well, you waited, and Anatema is back with some Keisha art.

Keisha's eyes look a little distorted here, but I still like it.

Anatema's Sakaki

So last Thrusday I got this picture of Sakaki from Mexican artist AnatemaWorks, and to say the least, it's not half bad.

He/She also stated that they are working on a Keisha one as well.

Update after SUCH a long delay.

Well, hey everyone. I'm back, and ready for a big (art-wise) update.

For starters, Toshi's concept artwork has been completed recently...
...which knocks the roster of missing characters down to one: The fifth member of my evil witch gang. Speaking of [the] witches...
justincomissioncopia-1.jpg
For a measly $31 bucks, I was able to commission one of my recent friends mistachiha to draw up this picture for me, which shows series antagonists Kurayami and Adelvina, showin' off their backs. Probably the most beautiful of the fanarts I got regarding the series. Well worth the money.
ComissionKurayami-1.jpg

Then there's this one from Jastur-Axmus, who originally designed Britly a year and a half ago. A very pleasant render of Kurayami, still living up to her sexiness. The transparent hair on Kurayami is a nice touch (though not a real feature in the series), and the background is well-detailed. I love this one. :)

And for only $10 dollars, I got this bust-up of Britly from alascarmesis. Pretty well-done for a traditional artwork, if you ask me. The bumps/wings on her head should be longer, and there are two white parts that weren't cut out, but I'm not going to complain, especially to a guy like this.

I'm hoping to commission these guys again in the near future, and maybe a few other great artists, since no one seems to have the will to draw these characters, especially with how much effort I put into designing Kurayami and Adelvina.

New fanart... Thanks Sam!

Recently I got fanart of Aozora's Adventure character Amano from my good friend Sam Bros. Thank you very much, my friend. This is so awesome. ^__^
